Lyric Schnur is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with R.W. Baird, located in Butler, PA. Lyric and her partner, TJ McCance, specialize in helping clients become and remain financially independent. As part of the Schnur McCance Group, Lyric and her team believe in the formal financial planning process as the foundation to guide their clients through life’s transitions. The Schnur McCance Group enjoy collaborating closely with their clients and remain focused on providing them with exceptional service, on-going communication, and developing deep relationships with their client’s families now and for the generations to come. For the second year in a row, Lyric and her partner TJ were recognized by Forbes/SHOOK Research as a 2026 Best-In-State Wealth Management Team (Published 1/7/2026, rankings based on data as of 3/31/2025). In addition, Lyric was recognized as a 2026 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor Best-In-State List (Published 2/4/2026, rankings based on data as of 6/30/2025).
Lyric joined legacy Hefren-Tillotson in May of 1999 and is Series 7, 63 and 66 licensed in addition to holding a license in Life, Accident and Health Insurance. In 2024, Lyric also obtained the prestigious Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation. Prior to Hefren-Tillotson, she held positions with UBS as an operations analyst and financial assistant. During her Hefren Tillotson tenure, she held the position of office manager and supported the Branch Compliance Officer and Branch Manager. Lyric holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Business Administration and is a Dale Carnegie graduate as well. Lyric also holds a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Slippery Rock University and studied at the New York Institute of Finance.
Lyric’s extensive community involvement currently includes membership with the Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of Western Pennsylvania and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation. Lyric’s commitment to community involvement was recognized by those in 2015 as she was the honored recipient of the Distinguished Service Award (junior division) in recognition of her outstanding volunteer service to the Butler County area. She believes in actively giving back to the community in which she lives and hopes to inspire her children to do the same.
Her love for mountain and lake life takes her to her ‘heaven on earth’ during her down time at Deep Creek Lake, MD when she isn’t enjoying watching her son play baseball or her daughter competitively dance. Lyric and her husband, Curtis an educator, reside in Butler Township.
